Winter is here knocking at the door. Time for Herbal Tea and other easy to get things to take care of ourselves.
The most common problems we Bangladeshi people face in winter are unexpected cold & flu, dried up skin, sore throat etc. From the young to olds, infants to adults.
Unexpected cold & flu is the most common problem almost everyone faces in winter. Need remedy? Here it is. Grab the pudina, a little amount of honey, lemon, mixed with lukewarm water. Done! Have a sip and feel the comfort. Same goes for “Sore Throat”. Just, in addition, boil the water with a slice of ginger and do the same thing did before. Feel the instant difference.
Skin dried up? Thinking about what to do? Get a small stick of aloe vera and wash it nicely. Then cut it into two pieces, use a spoon to squeeze the gel from it, mix it well with the little amount of honey and apply it on your face, hands, legs or any other exposed part of your body. Leave it to dry for 10-15 minutes. Wash it with warm water. Use this regular moisturizer and skin will feel better than before.
Beauty blogger Shahnaz Shimul says, 1/3rd of a ripe banana or 2 tablespoons of ripe papaya paste mixed with a teaspoon full of honey and an egg white is the best pack to get rid of dry skin. It can be used on face or any exposed area of our body.

Nothing is better than drinking water. But in winter try to drink at least 2 or 3 glasses of warm water. It helps in your digestion and makes you feel fresh.
Having vegetables are important too. Vitamin C enriched foods will help you to stay away from cold & flu.
